Unit Reporting

Many large companies are asking of their suppliers to provide waste and recycling data. This data is commonly requested in scorecard programs that suppliers fill out and report on a regular basis is very time consuming to generate. Not any longer! RWP’s Unit Reporting is the “normalizing” of waste and recycling data in comparison to business activity levels. Your operation simply shares the matrix of business activity (i.e. widgets made, pounds of production, occupied rooms, etc.) and RWP does the rest with the data we are already managing. Your end result provides you pounds of waste and pounds of recyclables per unit of business activity. This is brought to you automatically with your logging in each month to retrieve your detail.

Units per Haul

Logistics is a significant part of handling waste, recycle and by-product streams. If the costs are directly covered by your operations or if paid for by the provider, ultimately you end up paying for poor hauling practices. RWP tracks this activity with your service providers. If cost savings can be targeted for improvement toward your economics, RWP works to get that benefit to your bottom line.

The units tracked in a Units per Haul Report can varying by the type of service conducted. Whether it is a liquid or a solid, tracked by weight or by count of items, we are watching that efficiency. This tracking is conducted on a monthly basis in order to notice trends and impacts as they occur over time. This form of what we call “Creep” were a vendor can charge you more with small incremental impacts month to month can easily go unnoticed unless tracked in your Units per Haul Report.

Units of Tracking Include:
  • Tons / Haul
  • Gallons / Haul
  • Points / Haul
  • Counts / Haul
  • Hours / Haul

With data presented month over month, slow moving recycle streams can be properly evaluated as well as your more frequently generated material line items hauled from a site.
